Since 2018 every year around august 15 Irene Lucas, artist and expert in solar cooking, in team with Christoph Euler-Rolle, filmmaker and artist, and Rasmus Exo, architect and expert in circula economy, are arriving at Trieste, in order to harvest and process the figs and susine – a local species of plums – of the Clanz garden and the Scala Santa Orchard. They are bringing in expertise in practical aspects of growing and harvesting, share knowledge on species, seeds and reproduction, expand relations with communities of alternative agriculture, and help conceiving plannings for the terraces in Scala Santa and Rio Martesin.
