Susanne Brokesch’s concert at MLZ Art Dep / WAF is at the crossing points of the advanced programmation of this well situated gallery with a new audience open to the perception of experimentations beyond the fine arts; and secondly at the manifestation of the growing translocal community of artists and intellectuals, who recently have moved into town and are starting to establish a productive scene, integrating into and integrative for the creative potential of the city.
With her seemingly naive, yet substancially complex acoustic cosmos, Brokesch captivates the audience in a concentrated listening experience, supplemented by a participative call-to-action format, which is inspired by her daily job as an officer at a psychiatric service institution of the NYC firepolice.
Susanne Brokesch has been resident artist of the Clanz Sound Residency ´25.
